Welcome to the New Year, friends! I’m so excited that 2026 is here because I really feel like this is going to be my year. My year of expansion, my year of growth, and my year of trying new things. I cannot share every step with you all just yet, but I want to share a few things that I’m doing for the first time.
Monday Mood Boards
Those of you who follow me on social media should notice that I am doing a Monday Mood Board series. My mood boards are inspiring and telling of all of the different things that I am feeling about the upcoming week. If you’re watching and listening closely, you’ll see hints to what I’m writing, details as to what I am reading, and the overall feel of all the things Tanela. Getting Help
I’m so happy that I’m finally at a stage in my writing career where I have the capacity to invest in some support services. I know it sounds crazy that you have to have the capacity to receive help, but as a solo book entrepreneur, that is the reality. I’m looking forward to working with a new agency that will help me expand my reach and meet new readers all across the world.
Events
This is the thing that excites me the most. I set a goal for the first half of the year to have at least six events where I go out into the community and showcase my books. And in the month of February, I will have two upcoming events. Please see my Events tab for more information, and come check me out. I love meeting new readers and will be excited to take a picture,e sign a book, or just simply give you a hug.
